Key Lime Pie is already very sweet so the cheesecake will be a soft compliment to this dessert. It takes less than 20 minutes to make, but it will need to be refrigerated for a while for the cheesecake to set. Stick with me, and I will have your key lime pie tasting better in under 20 minutes.

How to make a store bought Key Lime Pie taste Better?

In this recipe, you will need,
Heavy whipping cream, cream cheese (softened), vanilla, and sugar
A lime
A store-bought key lime pie.
You want to keep the key lime pie in the freezer until you are ready to add the cheesecake.
This will help the cheesecake set.
Now, you will need 2 bowls (or one blender and 1 bowl).
In the first bowl, add your whipping cream add your vanilla, and sugar. Whip on high until you have a stiff peak.

In another bowl, mix your cream cheese, sugar, and cream of coconut (optional).

Then fold the heavy whipping cream into the cream cheese mixture. Mix for about 10 seconds. Next, remove the key lime pie from the freezer and carefully spoon on the cheesecake filling. Now, something to keep in mind, your key lime pie should already have some type of border on it, like the one shown in the picture. You will need some support to hold the cheesecake in place.
Zest a lime, and sprinkle on top of the cheesecake mixture.

Refrigerate the Pie for at least 4 hours. Cut, serve and enjoy!

- Keep Pie in the freezer until the cheesecake filling is complete
- In one bowl (or blender) mix 1 cup of whipping cream, vanilla, and sugar until stiff, store in the refrigerator
- In another bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and cream of coconut, until smooth.
- Remove the whipping cream from the refrigerator and fold the mix into the cream cheese mixture. Mix for about 10 seconds.
- Remove the key lime pie from the freezer, remove all packaging and pour the cheesecake mixture on top of the key lime pie. Be sure not to overfill the Pie.
- Zest your lime and place them on top of the cheesecake mixture.
- Store in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or more before serving
