
Ok, it’s that time of year again; you may feel like spreading a little extra love for school or work. Well. I know you all haven’t thought of this one. But it’s a classic chocolate cupcake with a twist. Here is the quick and easy chocolate cupcake valentine’s day dessert idea.
Now you only need a few ingredients, but if you don’t want to bake the chocolate cupcakes. You can go to Sam’s Club, Costco, or your local grocery store and order the cupcakes without icing and ice the cupcakes at a later time.

Ok you will need a few boxes of cordial chocolate cherries.
Bake your cupcakes as instructed, and let them cupcake cool
Once the cupcakes have cooled, cut a circle into the cupcake. Do this for all the cupcakes at the same time.

Next, the chocolate-covered chocolate and carefully place the chocolate in the center. Repeat this for each cupcake. Now that the cupcakes are stuffed with the delicious chocolate-covered cherry, now it’s time to add your icing on top.
Again, I just used a chocolate icing I made at home. 1/2 a can of chocolate icing with one brick or cream cheese icing. I mixed the two and added the icing to the cupcakes.
I didn’t have any more piping bags, so I had to use a zip-loc bag, which was ok. Let’s use what we have on hand to save money. I’m all for saving money.

- Set oven to 350
- Mix cake mix as instructed ( instead of using water, you can add milk as I did)
- Prepare your cupcake pan with your liners.
- Put your chocolate batter in the pans, and bake for 18- 25 minutes until done.
- Frosting- Use 1/2 of canned chocolate icing, and mix with 8 ounces of softened cream cheese. Set Aside
- Once the cupcakes are ready and cooled. cut a circle in each cupcake
- Next, insert a chocolate-covered cherry into each cupcake.
- Now, it’s time for you to ice each cupcake as you desire. I just used a butter knife, lol.
- If you choose, you can elevate this dessert by putting chocolate sprinkles on top.
