
Yum Yum yall. I’ve made quite a few pineapple upside-down cakes in my life. So much I was looking for a pineapple upside cake variation. Well, I think this will be my new favorite. I loved, loved baking this cake. Thank God, I’ve managed to keep my weight in check when baking all these desserts. It hasn’t been easy, but I must abide by my exercise plan. Ok, enough about me. This easy pineapple upside-down cake with pecans is a win. I want you to buy the ingredients and make this delicious dessert as soon as possible for spring or summer, which is right around the corner.
The Best Pineapple Upside Down Cake with Pecans

You will need a few ingredients:
Duncan Hines box cake mix- Pineapple Supreme
Pineapple slices
Delicious cherries
Brown sugar
Butter
Pecans
Eggs
Oil
Let’s start making the Best Cake Ever
Set your oven to 350
In a large bowl, mix the cake mix as described on the box, except I added milk instead of water. Well, I forgot to add 2 tablespoons of flour (because I’m in a high-altitude area) the cake sunk a little bit in the center. So if you are not baking at a high altitude, omit the flour. If you are in a high-altitude environment, add 2 tablespoons of flour to the cake mix.

Next, you will melt your butter

In your 9 x 13 cake pan, pour the melted butter, then sprinkle the brown sugar on top of the butter. Next, drain your pineapples and add 1 at a time. Next, your stemless cherries, then add your pecans for an added crunch.



Now pour the cake mix on top of the pineapple mixture. (I didn’t spray any non-stick spray on the cake pan because it has a butter base) you, too, do not need to add any non-stick spray.

Bake this cake for 35-45 minutes or until it’s completely done.
Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for about 25 minutes before un panning the cake onto a serving dish.

Once your cake has cooled, serve the cake right away. You can also store the cake in the refrigerator for a few days. It will still be delicious. This is an easy dessert you can make at home. Let me know how it turns out.

- Turn the oven on 350
In a large bowl, mix the cake mix as it is listed on the cake box; instead of water, use milk for a richer cake. Set aside
In a small bowl, melt your stick of butter in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Once the butter is melted, pour it into the pan.
Take the brown sugar and spread it evenly in the pan; next, add the pineapples without the juice.
In the circle of the pineapple, add one cherry (stemless) in each circle of the pineapple.
Now add the chopped pecans.
Next, add the cake batter slowly to the pan
Put in the oven and bake for 55-45 minutes or until done
Let the cake cool for about 30 minutes and then take the cake out by flipping the cake on your serving plate and serve immediately.
